MECHVAC designed, manufactured and installed a 30 m2 cleanroom for Lightforce who manufacture defence equipment. The cleanroom was pre-fabricated in our workshop including
- Modifications to 2 x 20” Hicube containers for doors, windows, bolted connection between the two containers and a service room
- Installation of insulated panel wall, ceilings and a vinyl floor with electrostatic discharge earthing
- Refrigerative reverse cycle air conditioning mounted in a service room
- HEPA filtered air supply system to cleanroom for class 8 conditions
- Installation of plant services for lighting and power distribution, all pre-wired
- Transport to site
- Site installation of a gowning room
This project was completed in April 2025.
