Pooraka BMHRF Sponsorship
MECHVAC are pleased to announce our sponsorship of the Pooraka Football Club for their Breakthrough round match against the Salisbury Football Club. This match is a fund raiser event for the club’s contribution to the Breakthrough Mental Health Research Foundation. Pooraka(football and cricket) have committed to raising $25000 to fund research into the connection between sport, community, and mental health & wellbeing.
The Breakthrough Foundation is a leading research centre in the causes and treatment of mental illness as well as providing mental health first aid programs in sporting clubs throughout South Australia.
The Pooraka Bulls are a leading sporting organisation in its fund raising activities for the Foundation, and are having a great season working towards achieving promotion to Div 4 in what is a very competitive competition.
At MECHVAC, our workshop and office facility is located in Pooraka and we are therefore proud to be associated with the Bulls and their Breakthrough match. We are currently building and updating factories in the North of Adelaide for our Defence, Food, and Mining / Resources customers. Our support for these manufacturing industries has experienced substantial growth in our services for the design of Plant Layouts, Fume and Dust Extraction, Industrial Air Conditioning and Plant Services.
