Customer: PMB Defence – manufacturer of Collins Class Submarine batteries
MECHVAC provided a feasibility study for the relocation of PMB Defence’s 10,000 m2 factory to a new location as part of the Australian Government Future Submarine programme. This was followed by a new building design and construct project that was project managed by MECHVAC and then a plant relocation and fit-out phase that was designed, manufactured and installed by MECHVAC.
This project has been a full test of MECHVAC’s engineering expertise, project management and manufacturing capabilities with constant design changes brought on by the customer’s R&D for future product programs.
This project commenced in 2018 and is due for completion in 2021.
